Rahador
Rahador is a dense closed grain wood that turns well and finishes to a high luster. The colors range from a cream white. bright yellow, to orange to a bark brown. While it isn’t usually visible from the outside there are often large veins of chatoyancy running through out the pieces. While the Name Rahador is only a “Wood Choppers” name. We have never been able to truly identify what the genus and species actually are. We receive this wood from only one supplier an it comes out of Mexico. |
