Hands on Cutting Board Class
Cutting Board Class Description:
Prerequisite: Basic Knowledge of Power Tools Needed.
Tools Required: Safety Glasses, Pen and Paper

Wood World is now offering an Heirloom Cutting Board class. Students will build over a two-day period an Heirloom 18” x 14” Edge Grain Cutting Board from four contrasting types of wood that may include Walnut, Maple, Cherry, Yellowheart, Padauk and Purpleheart.
Tuition Notes: Tuition Includes all Cost of Materials and Shop Fees.
Day 1: Saturday, 10 AM - 12 PM
Day 2: Sunday, 12 AM - 4 PM
Description: This is a HANDS-ON Class. We have a GREAT NEW CLASS presented by Mitchell Robb. Students will build, over the two days, an End-Grain style Cutting Board from various contrasting types of wood. This 18" X 14" x 1 ¼” Cutting Board will be an utterly amazing addition to any cooks kitchen. This traditional method of building a Cutting Board will make a Very Durable, Functional and Attractive board. This board will withstand the rigors of a busy kitchen while retaining it beauty. Mitchell Robb is a great teacher and his hands-on approach to teaching will help you learn all the tricks for building face grain, side grain and end grain and Cutting Boards. The Cutting Board Class is a Prerequisite for our Advanced In-lay / Cutting Board Class
In the Advanced In-Lay / Cutting board class Students will learn how to inlay various shapes, designs and symbols into wooden objects in the Advanced In-Lay / Cutting Board Class. (examples below)
