In this class you will learn the basics of bowl design as well as the basic techniques for turning a bowl. This project will be made out of Curly maple or Ambrosia Maple with a metal leaf insert around the rim. You will have the choice of finishing it natural or you may choose to dye it if you choose Curly Maple. This project will be of heirloom quality and is sure to make a statement wherever you display it.

Scorched & Dyed Lidded Box Class
In this class you will turn an Ash bowl with a Curly Maple dyed top. In this class you will not only learn to turn Ash lidded box but you will also learn a scorching as well as how to dying a Curly Maple top.
