The Bright Blue Sea knife scales are a two-color scale. One side is a rich deep blue while the other side is creamy white with just a touch of blue. The two colors are divided by a black ribbon. Sanding this scale will sand through this black ribbon in some areas allowing each side of the blank to have both the white and blue colors showing.
