This tool is designed for the undercut of vases, bowls, boxes and many inside diameter forms. The cutters are pre-set for easy to use inside diameter turning. To turn the inside diameter, the cutter orientation minimizes the manipulation of the handle which is a big advantage when turning through small diameter openings.
