This Glow Powders will aid in finishing your pen turning by filling in the areas that are blown out or have knots that need to be filled to give you that completed finished look. It can also be used in filling voids in any turning and making that area a focal point of the piece rather than a distraction. If mixed with epoxy or a lacquer and made into a past it used and used as a gain filler.

We recommend mixing with epoxy and spreading into the void or place Thick CA in first and then packing in powder and finally top with Thin CA. Be sure to leave Sand slightly above level so you can turn or sand it flush with finished surface. See Instructions below for  more details.

There are two main types of phosphorescent (glow) pigments: Jimmy Clewes Glow powders are a synthetic type of a phosphorescent pigment which is a grown crystal that is meticulously ground and treated. It glows 20-30 times longer than the other type on the market and has a much shorter excitation time (usually 20 minutes or less) for full glow.  Sun Light or Fluorescent lighting is all that is required to activate this product.

This product can be added to the pen blank making process and thus making the blanks glow in the dark.

There are two colors available. The both appear white in the day light but Glow a different color in the dark. Ghost Green Glows Green and Blue Lightning Glows Blue.
