No more broken fingernails and this tab lifter is especially great for people with arthritis or anyone who has trouble lifting the tab on dog food, tuna or soup cans.   First lift the tab with the base of this tab pull then the foot or flat bottom part slips inside the ring and you can pull it back to completely open the can.  It also works great for releasing the air in the vacuum lid jars as shown in the photo.  Slide the bottom under the lid where the little gap or space is and pull/push down on the handle.  The seal is broken and the lid unscrews easily.
