Students will begin with a bark on natural edge board so they will have the most choices when it comes to their design and style of board they decide to make.

CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Prerequisite: Basic Knowledge of Power Tools Needed.
Tools Required: Safety Glasses, Pen and Paper

Wood World is now offering an Hands on Charcuterie Board Class. Students will build a Heirloom 18” x 8” (approx) one piece Charcuterie Board. Students will begin with a bark on natural edge board so they will have the most choices when it comes to their design and style of board they decide to make.
Tuition Notes: Tuition Includes all Cost of Materials and Shop Fees.

Day 1: Thursday 6.30 PM - 10 PM
Description: this is a hands-on class. We have another great new class presented by Mitchell Robb. Students will start out with a natural edge 4/4 board approximately 18” long and then will design their board from there. Students will have to decide whether they want a neutral edge board or a square edge board or even a manmade natural edge board. The next step will be designing, locating, and cutting the handle. These boards will be an utterly amazing addition to any cook’s kitchen. These boards are very durable, functional, and attractive. This board will also withstand the rigors of a busy kitchen while retaining it beauty. Mitchell Robb will help you learn all the tricks for building charcuterie board. You will also learn many valuable machining tips that will help you in all your woodworking projects. This new class will be an extremely popular and fill quickly so, sign up a.s.a.p.
While you will make a solid one piece Charcuterie Board in this class you will also learn how to attach a batter board handle.

CHARCUTERIE BOARD
The class was as advertised, started on time with a very knowledgeable instructor available to demonstrate techniques and answer questions. Students were allowed to select a piece of wood, shown how to use the equipment and we went to work. I learned some new things about wood working and took home a beautiful board.

Class Hours: 6 pm - 10 pm approx.
There are no cancellations / refunds for classes unless notified at least 60 days (or more) before the scheduled class date.
If you cannot attend and have missed the 60 day notice period, we will try and resell your spot; and only if we resell your spot will any refund be given.
We understand that things come up but this is a business, and as such, we must run it that way. We must pay for and confirm classes with the instructor 60 days prior to the beginning of the classes, and as such we cannot afford to make up for those who sign up but cannot attend. So, please do not book a class if you cannot live by these terms. No exceptions so please don't ask.

In the Advanced In-Lay / Cutting board class Students will learn how to inlay various shapes, designs and symbols into wooden objects in the Advanced In-Lay / Cutting Board Class. (examples below)
