The Smooth leather makes this apron easy to clean. Simply wipe off with a moist towel. Shavings and BBQ sauce are no big deal.  We have had these fantastic leather aprons made with the highest quality leather and have had a leather flap to both pockets so they will not fill up with unwanted debris. This leather is the perfect weight so it allows for ease of movement and doesn't pull at your neck fatiguing you as you work.
