The Heritage Rough Rider American Flag Grips are the most patriotic upgrade you can make to your single-action revolver — and they’re built to back that look with real craftsmanship. If you own a Rough Rider and want something that makes a statement without sacrificing quality, this is the set.
Each panel is master-crafted from solid walnut and features a beautifully detailed carved American flag design that wraps around the full grip face — a flowing, dimensional carve that gives the wood genuine visual depth rather than a flat printed surface. The design is anchored by a Screaming Eagle medallion integrated cleanly into each panel, adding a classic patriotic finish that complements the flag carving without competing with it.
Manufactured using state-of-the-art CNC fabrication, every set is engineered to precise dimensions — maintaining the original feel of the Rough Rider’s grip frame while delivering a significant visual upgrade. Drops in without modification and works with both .22 LR and .22 Magnum configurations.

These premium European walnut panels provide a high-quality, customizable ergonomic upgrade that allows you to apply a personal finish to precision-machined hardwood.
These Grips do not have a final top coat applied. This allows you to put on the specific top coat and sheen you like.
For an easy to apply and traditional look we recommend Watco Natural or any of the Watco Danish oils with a walnut tint such as Watco Light Walnut, Watco Dark Walnut or Watco Black Walnut. We recommend 4-8 coats for best results.
If you prefer a spray on finish we recommend Pro Luxe Lacquer. It comes in Satin, Semi Gloss and Gloss. This is an easy to apply finish and permanently seals the wood. Usually takes 4-6 coats.
