The Heritage Rough Rider Black Punisher Grips deliver a real upgrade in both aesthetics and tactile feel — built for the shooter who wants premium, artisan-style craftsmanship without sacrificing the Rough Rider’s natural character.
Each panel is crafted from high-quality solid walnut and features a sophisticated combination of traditional checkering and a hand-carved oakleaf pattern across the grip face — firm, natural, and confident in hand through every cylinder rotation. The centerpiece is a striking Black Punisher medallion inset cleanly into each panel, adding a bold, tactical edge that contrasts sharply against the warm walnut grain.
Every set is shaped using precision CNC fabrication to ensure a perfect fit and consistent quality against the Rough Rider’s grip frame. Drops in without modification and works with both .22 LR and .22 Magnum configurations.
All mounting hardware included.
Professionally made High quality Unfinished Walnut grips for the Heritage .22 revolvers including the Barkeep model and will work on both 6 and 9 shoot revolvers. Comes with grip screw.
These premium European walnut panels provide a high-quality, customizable ergonomic upgrade that allows you to apply a personal finish to precision-machined hardwood.
These Grips do not have a final top coat applied. This allows you to put on the specific top coat and sheen you like.
For an easy to apply and traditional look we recommend Watco Natural or any of the Watco Danish oils with a walnut tint such as Watco Light Walnut, Watco Dark Walnut or Watco Black Walnut. We recommend 4-8 coats for best results.
If you prefer a spray on finish we recommend Pro Luxe Lacquer. It comes in Satin, Semi Gloss and Gloss. This is an easy to apply finish and permanently seals the wood. Usually takes 4-6 coats.
