Merlin2 is the second generation miniature long neck angle grinder set from King Arthur’s Tools. Merlin2 has been completely redesigned, inside and out, and is now manufactured by King Arthur’s Tools. Merlin2 replaces the original Merlin and utilizes spiral bevel gears. This product has a new motor, upgraded, RoHS compliant electronics, a larger fan, additional vents, a one piece cast safety guard, a textured finish and improved design. Available in both fixed and adjustable speeds, Merlin2 also has a switch guard and improved power cord.
Years in the making, thanks to YOUR input and suggestions, Merlin2® has been transformed into a much more reliable and powerful carving tool ready to turn your ideas into reality. The sets all include “The World’s Smallest Chain Saw,” an eight-tooth saw chain that’s only two inches in diameter and include a variety of disc accessories to fit every use.
Merlin2 can be used with a variety of accessories for deburring, grinding, roughening, finishing and chamfering on steel, non-ferrous metal, glass, ceramics, alabaster, soap stone and other hard surfaces. Merlin2 also excellent for paint and rust removal, cutting small components, sharpening tools, auto repairs, model and tool & die making. Merlin2 allows for smooth cutting and excellent control, light stock removal and use in tight, difficult to reach areas. This wizard will do what other tools just can’t do.
Changing accessories is easy with the Allen key (included) and lockdown spindle button in the die cast housing. A variety of other 2” disc accessories are available to fit Merlin2 – from specialty cutters to sanders.
